Jeepers creepers. . .

One night really late Ty was getting home and saw something move out of the corner of his eye. When he bent down for a closer look this is what he saw!

Enormous and creepy, we have never seen a spider quite like this before in our neck of the woods! The pictures don't do it justice because he is huge and very detailed! He looked like a baby tarantula to me! yelp! And to think he was just chilling on the porch. . .

Ty caught him and kept him in a jar for a few days so we could show people. He showed him to my moms bug guy who said this kind of super wolf spider is noctural and wanders in search of food at night! We were really relieved to know he didn't have friends in our yard :) And that he most likely came from the mountains and could be three years old judging from his size!

Then after much coaxing from my mom, they took it up to the wasatch mountains and released him. Ty and Court begged my mom to keep him in the house and build some kind of terrarium for him! I know right?!?!?! I am so happy she said NO!!! Kids and their creatures!!! :)

Oh my gosh Lindsay, this is DISGUSTING! You think it was a BABY triantula? I think it is the king DADDY triantula! I feel like I have spiders crawling all over me now! So I got those towels from Smith's Market Place off of 90th and Redwood road, funny huh? I didn't even know Smith's sold stuff like that. I was getting my oil changed at a car place across the street from it and needed an ink cartridge so walked over there, and found TONS of cute stuff and couldn't leave without them so I carried like 6 huge bags of stuff across Redwood Road Traffic. The plastic bags cut the circulation off on my arms, it was pretty funny. Go there, they have cute stuff!
