Pikes Place Market

So when we told everyone Brian won a trip to Seattle, everyone said you have to go to Pikes Place Market! So we went :)

Right when you get there in the middle of it all is the Fish area.

This is where they do the demonstration of the flying fish. Whenever anyone orders fish they take it and throw it around. It was so fun to watch!

They even did it with huge fish and didn't drop them. It impressed me!

BUT. . .If you hate the smell of fish you might have a little issue. The whole place smells like it :)

It is so famous I think because you can literally get "anything" there! It is a market center forever long with millions of little shops that carry anything you'd like! And like we did :)

We found an amazing shop to get the "worlds best macaroni and cheese" and lots of other yummy foods. If you go there, go on an empty stomach so that you can enjoy all there is to eat!

Then there were the shops that sold things I would totally never want, but it was fun to look.

Haha! These dummies are awesome! This one is for you court!

We went into a hat shop and I totally wanted this hat! I have always been obsessed with Egypt but if I would have gotten it I don't know when I would have used it. I guess a picture will have to do!
We loved Pikes Market and had a total hay day!

Most Beautiful. . .

I will miss this magical place over the winter. . . To me it is the most beautiful place I have ever seen.

Here are just a couple visual reasons why it is so amazing. . . (pictures by Ty)

See what I mean?. . . :)

Bear Lake Demolition Derby

There was one time at the very end of summer that my family went up to Bear Lake alone. When I say alone, I mean just Mom, Dad, Ty, Court, me and Bri. I love it when everyone else comes too, but it was so nice to get some alone time with my family.

While we were up there we heard about a demolition derby. I had never been to one and it sounded like a fun after dinner activity so off we went!

They had all the cars lined up outside and I was surprised at how beat they all looked already. Some looked like they wouldn't run at all.

It seemed really exciting and one car even drove over another car! It was fun to watch!

Cute photos of Mi Familia!

It definitely was a rocking good time! We had so much fun I think we will be back to watch next year. . .

28

This handsome man of mine turned the big 28 sometime during our summer madness! I had a special day night planned for us, which included lunch at his favorite mexican place in bountiful, called lorenas. All the Bunker boys love this place, it cracks me up!

Then we went and saw inception and had a five course dinner at The Five Alls. It was delicious and if you have never been there you should go! It was fun and the atmosphere was great!

I sure do love this boy!

The Hunger Games. . .

Have you read this series!?!?!

Seriously people! For starters, it literally blew my socks off!

I don't understand how this story could come from someones brain but I couldn't put the books down until they were finished. Late into the night I read. . .

If you have heard about them read them! When I told Brian the premise he was like, That sounds dumb. . . but I promise it will leave you thinking! And wanting more!!!

It isn't your typical novel, but I think that is what I loved the most! It is full of hard to swallow elements like violence, government, ethics, and propaganda but really makes you think about what is right and what you would fight for. . .

Get your copy today! (so we can dish and have a party :)

Welcome back Travis too!

My cousin Travis got home from his mission to South America recently! He got home before Riley too actually but I am a bit of a slacker so you know how it goes. . .

Waiting at the airport. . .

We see him coming! I swear he was the last one too!

It was so good to see him again, and I swear those two years have literally flown by! Well maybe not for his mom. . . :)

He was so charismatic after his long flight and so happy to see everyone!

Three handsome boys!

Catching up with Grandpa Siebenhaar!

Welcome back Trav!

We missed you so much! XOXO!
