Drew and Elisha get engaged!!!

My lovely cousin Elisha has been dating her boyfriend Drew for some time! But it still came as a major surprise when they announced conference weekend they were engaged! The same weekend as Brian and I!!!

We are so happy for them and know they are a great couple!

Live this experience up Elisha, because it is a time that will be more fun than you can handle and you will always remember it!

I love you so much!

Welcome to the family Drew! I hope you can handle us crazy germans! :)

Jeepers creepers. . .

One night really late Ty was getting home and saw something move out of the corner of his eye. When he bent down for a closer look this is what he saw!

Enormous and creepy, we have never seen a spider quite like this before in our neck of the woods! The pictures don't do it justice because he is huge and very detailed! He looked like a baby tarantula to me! yelp! And to think he was just chilling on the porch. . .

Ty caught him and kept him in a jar for a few days so we could show people. He showed him to my moms bug guy who said this kind of super wolf spider is noctural and wanders in search of food at night! We were really relieved to know he didn't have friends in our yard :) And that he most likely came from the mountains and could be three years old judging from his size!

Then after much coaxing from my mom, they took it up to the wasatch mountains and released him. Ty and Court begged my mom to keep him in the house and build some kind of terrarium for him! I know right?!?!?! I am so happy she said NO!!! Kids and their creatures!!! :)

Welcome home Riley!!!

My cousin riley got back last wednesday from his mission to Australia! It was so much fun to see him get back and go to the airport!

I can't help it but every time I see a missionary come back or someone who has served our country in the army, marines, navy etc, I ball my eyes out! I guess I just really feel for the families who have had to do without :)

He is cuter than ever and we are more than thrilled to have him home! He is the last of the Siebenhaar boys to go, so we are done for good!

Welcome home Riley! Way to represent the family! We love you oodles and oodles!!!

Courty and her first car!!!

This poor sister of mine has really been through the ringer when it comes to buying cars! She has wanted one forever and looked and looked, and has finally found the perfect car for her!

It is a Mitsubishi lancer and is red-magenta-ish and has amazing miles, is in amazing shape, and was bought for an amazing price!

She just adores it and it is so fun to see her driving around in something she really loves!

I am so happy for you!

ps, sis, you still owe me a cruise and ice cream!

Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall!

The end of summer is always a little bittersweet for me because I love it so much, but I love fall too!

I will miss our weekend trips to bear lake and swimming and the beach. (don't you just adore this picture?! I took it this summer of eddie and ty at bear lake :)

But I can't wait for the leaves to turn and for the crisp air to come so I can wear my sweaters and boots!

This is the view from my moms house right now and in a few weeks it will be on fire with reds, oranges, yellows and the most beautiful colors and shapes you can imagine!

I can't wait!!!

Happy Birthday Ty! The big 23!!!

Ty turned 23 in September and had a great birthday!

He is doing great! He is going to school and gets his associates degree in January, still does wireless and is a talented salesman!

He also has been home from his mission for two years already! I swear time has flown!

I love everything about him and am very thankful he is my brother!

23 is the year my life changed forever and I hope this year is full of adventures and great changes for you as well!

I sure do love you! XOXO, Love Schvest!
