Someone Special. . .

This delightful smiling face is Heidi, and she is going to hit me for posting about her but it is my blog so I do what I want :) I am a bit of a thief and I stole these off her husbands facebook so you could see her! She is very special to me and you are about to find out why. . .

The other day, I went to my yearly gyno appointment, and let's just say it was less fun than I had imagined. And I guess it is also harder to make a baby then it looks. . . no pun intended. I want a baby sometime in the near future but after hearing how it would be really hard for me to do so I wanted to jump off the imc.

Anyways, I was a sad about stuff and on top of that it had been kind of a hard week with Bentley getting super sick, not getting to see Brian as much, and super busy at work etc. I said a little prayer in the elevator asking to just have a little more help than usual and to be happy regardless.

By the time I had walked to my car, I got a call from Heidi. She said that she was thinking about me and wanted to call and see how I was doing and if she could take me to dinner that night! She doesn't know this, but I cried when I got off the phone with her. It was exactly what I needed and it made all the difference in my week. I still smile when I think about it.

Just another testimony that he does hear your prayers and is aware of you, and even though you are one in a billion, he knows who you are and is aware when you need a little help.

We went to Texas Roadhouse and stuffed ourselves with those addicting warm rolls and cinnamon butter, and caught up on life and I got to vent to her about the mishaps of the day. Heidi is such an amazing person, and I love hanging out with her. She is such a good listener and has such great advice to offer. She is so much fun and makes me laugh with her personality and humor. She is always so happy to see me and gives me the biggest hugs! She is the kind of friend that really makes you feel blessed just to know her.

I got lucky when Brian's bestie Jon married her and we have been such good friends ever since!

Thanks Heidi for being my angel this week. I sure do love you! I am also really thankful that I have so many good friends. You make my life so much sweeter!

Sunday May 10th, Mothers day, Brian and I Celebrated our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

(I would have like to post this sooner but I couldn't find any of the pics :( What you are seeing here is a very small selection. . .)


CRAZY!!!! You know it is really funny to think about being married one year! I mean, it has gone by so DANG FAST!!!

It feels like just yesterday, we were country dancing and just meeting for the first time!

The saturday before our anniversary, Brian surprised me by taking me to lagoon for the day! We had so much fun laughing and spending time together!!

Then we had dinner at melting pot (could be my new favorite restaurant:) and then we spend the night in the little america where we stayed the night we got married! It was so thoughtful and romantic of him to plan all of this on his own! I was impressed!

The next day, sunday, our anniversary, we broke open the YEAR OLD CAKE! We unfroze our Cake and it was SUPER delicious thanks to mom and dad keeping it so nicely frozen and sealed!Our wedding cake was super cute!

Doesn't it look amazing for being a year old? I must admit, I was a little scared to eat it! I mean, after a year most things would have been a mold farm!

We picked a marble cake with bavarian creme filling! Can you say heaven!!?!?! It was delish!
I had forgotten how good it was bc at our wedding the only bite we each got was the midget piece we gave each other when we cut it! I know, we got jipped!

We were having lots of fun eating and serving it and then we all looked around to see that everyone's teeth were black from the FROSTING!!!! We laughed our heads off and decided to use the black teeth as a photo op!

All in all, after one year gone and one million to go I have realized some things about marriage. . .
That I have so much more love and respect for Brian than I did a year ago. . . I know it will only continue to grow and that is an amazing thing when you think it can't get any better!

That marriage is NOT easy but TOTALLY worth every second of it!. . . And that I can't wait to see what the next years hold for us together. . .

That Brian and I are more alike than I ever could have imagined. . . When I think he may be completely confused by something I'm doing, I just look over to see him smile. He just gets me and that my friends is a feat that I didn't think was accomplishable by any man!

I love you dearest! Happy ONE YEAR!!! "belated" tee hee!

Happy Birthday to ME!!!!!

I know the title sounds a tad self aware, but hey! What other day can you actually say that and act that way! I rest my case :)

My 24th Birthday was awesome! Since it was on Memorial day this year, we all headed up to Bear Lake for a fun filled weekend!!!

The weather this weekend was pretty stormy and rainy! So we ended up playing tons of games!

The next day we were really lucky and got to go Four wheeling and we had seven machines so there was one for each of us! It was too fun and the trail was beautiful!!!

Not quite sure what I was doing here but we all laughed at this picture because it is so ugly, so I had to do the right thing and share it with all of you!

We went through areas that were dark and foresty! There was even times that there was a whole bunch of snow. It was pretty cold!

And areas where it was warm and sunny and no snow. It was a beautiful trail! We had such a blast on this trail and after we were up there all day we realized that there were so many more trails we would like to explore! We will have to do this again. . .

And then Brian gave me my birthday present! A university of utah workout suit and AMAZING tickets to taylor swift!

Not only were they tickets but we got exclusive backstage access to hang out with taylor and her mom! It was an incredible experiance! I will post about that in a few days!

Overall it was a fantastic birthday!

Happy Birthday Courty!!!

My little sister Courtney turned the big 18 yesterday! I can't believe it! She is the baby of the family and now she is an adult! I am having a teeny panic attack that she is growing up!

She is such an amazing person for a number of reasons and here are some pics and captions to help illustrate how fabulous she really is! (If you can't tell I am a really proud sister!)

Courtney is one of the funniest people I know! She is constantly making everyone around her laugh! One of the reasons she is so funny is because she is totally herself and doesn't care if anyone else knows it!

She has silly obsessions just like me! But how can you NOT have the hots for johnny and edward! Shes loves new socks, Billie Joe of Greenday, Coldstone, Beenies, vans, peace signs, green, music, guitars, and millions of other things!

Court is the best friend anyone could have. She geniunelly cares about people and if you are her friend you know it! She is kind, and loving and is the person to randomly call or text just to see how your day is going! No wonder she is so loved by so many!

Courtney could wear a trashbag out in public and rock it! She has this awesome style that she wears so perfectly! I would never be able to pull off half of the things that she can! YOU GO GIRL!!!

Court will always choose family over anything else. She is so family oriented and is the best sister I know! Sometimes I feel like she should have been the older one because of how smart she is with advice and how to handle things! Talk about one mature 18 year old! (this is her and ty in the car, except ty looks a tad scarecrow-ish :)

Since I can remember courty loves to snuggle :) She is always giving out hugs and love! Here she is giving a little bit of snugs to my baby bentley!

Along with her style, she has the most amazing personality! She is seriously a rock star and anyone who spends two seconds with her knows it! She is super fun, outgoing and loves having a great time!

Court takes pride in everything she does. She is so good at her job and describes it as her dream job! She loves animals and works with them! I have no doubt they all love her too!

She is so talented! Here is her and her friend in seattle for a band trip! She has such a beautiful voice and sings like an angel! I really think that she has the talent to go really far in life!

She is INCREDIBLY GORGEOUS!!!! She is one of those girls that hears it all the time but doesn't really believe it. I wish she knew! . . . I would trade her bodies! I swear she is perfect!

Happy Birthday Courty! You are so incredible to me! I love your Beautiful face! Here is to another year of awesome things for you!

You know your sick when. . .

You can identify six different animal shapes in your ceiling right above your head. You know your really sick when you give the animal shapes names. You know your morbidly sick when you think you seriously saw one of them move and call your husband in from the other room to confirm it hasn't!

My body hates me. It has given me nothing but pain for almost an entire year. If I could I would surgically remove my problem organs and all it's friends myself.

My brain loves me though. It has allowed me to pass out a couple times where the pain gets too unbearable.

My nurse is insane. She thinks it is all in my head. I am seriously contemplating the fortune cookie trick in "freaky friday" just to prove her wrong.

My doctor is very smart and nice. He has put me through a series of tests to prove his love for me as a patient. (However, to his credit, I know he is taking every measure to try and find out what is wrong.) DEFINITON: Barium, Noun. "White thick liquid that looks like a milkshake but tastes a blend of dirty shredded socks, dandelion liquid, ground up chalk, and licking the metal bars at the gym. Purpose is used for CT scans and to induce vomiting. Not to be wished on one's worst enemy.

My only joy in this entire experiance is my increased time snuggled in bed with Brian watching movies and the Office which I love. "Our balls are in your court, Bears Beats, Battlestar Gallactica." Priceless. . .

Maybe that explains the hallucinations on the ceiling.

hmm. . .

Tomorrow is my latest test. I really hope they find out what is going on. . .
